Stalking a cage to make a fire
Pacing around and flicking a lighter
gazing in the orange glow
I want to feel like light ray
Heating up on a stretch of the highway
Hastening my demise, and letting go
Running roughshod out there
Set me up and watch me explode
See the black earth burn bare
No one has to disagree, it’s my turn to take everything
Running roughshod out there
Set me up and watch me explode
See the black earth burn bare
No one has to disagree, it’s my turn to take everything
i was talking to my friend about my old mp3 player and mentioned it had either sugar pool or bloodeater on it (along with wiggle by black dresses) and he told me "the black dresses (and mom) songs to put on a playlist/mp3 player that are an instant giveaway that there was something up with the playlist/mp3 player owner"
another album that got me through the rough times and damn he was right about that cyrus
An introspective collection of thoughtful, esoteric soul. Broken narratives and light gospel progressions help tell the story. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 15, 2016
Self-Titled is a touching little release that really spoke to me on a deeply emotional level when it came to addressing being hurt by others and the trauma that comes with that, as well as how relationships can seem so wonderful and pushing on during the darkest times of your life. the lyrics are nothing short of raw honesty about these experiences. this album is nothing but inspirational and beautiful to me because of that. Self-Titled was ahead of its time!!! Molly
